We also work with a network of trusted professionals to make sure every detail is handled with care and professionalism.
Our work is built on compassion, honesty, privacy, and respect. We understand how stressful this process can be, and our goal is to make things easier so families can focus on healing and being together.
Above all, we are here to provide steady support, thoughtful guidance, and genuine care every step of the way, guiding you through transition and allowing you to move forward with dignity and peace of mind.
About the Founder
Jocelyn Lee Vanegas
In 1985, my family experienced a loss that would quietly shape the course of my life.
My grandmother passed away in New York while we were living across the country in California. As the oldest child, I stepped in to help my parents navigate what came next. My father was emotionally exhausted and detached, and like so many families, we were suddenly faced with an overwhelming list of responsibilities at a time when we were least prepared to handle them.
We traveled nearly 3,000 miles to a city where we knew no one. In just a few short weeks, we had to manage everything—closing multiple bank accounts, handling property and belongings, coordinating services, and preparing a home for sale. We were doing our best to move quickly, but just simply trying to get through it.
In that rush, things were missed. Money was lost. At one point, there was a rush of relatives claiming items in the chaos, we had no inventory. Perhaps the hardest part of all—we didn’t have the space to truly grieve. The weight of what needed to be done overshadowed the time we should have had to honor my grandmother and support one another.
I remember wishing there was someone—someone local, someone trustworthy—who could have stepped in to guide us, to protect us, and to carry some of that burden so we could just be a family in mourning.
That experience stayed with me.
Over the years, I found myself helping others through similar situations, and it became clear that this wasn’t just something people needed—it was something people deserved.

Today, I offer families what I wish we had: a steady, compassionate presence during one of life’s most difficult transitions. Someone who understands both the emotional weight and the practical demands. Someone who can step in, handle the details with care, and allow families the time and space to grieve, reflect, and begin to heal.
This work is deeply personal to me. It always has been.
